Yoga at Manuel Antonio beach

Monkey business in the trees nearby kept us distracted for a while before we started our yoga class, but the white faced monkey family we met was fascinating. Here’s a video of the little guys climbing in the trees nearby. Capuchin monkeys are friendly and plentiful in Costa Rica. Definitely the best place to try inversions on the soft sand. Peace and harmony of the Burlington Occupy were disrupted on the evening of November 9th, 2011. Just near where I was standing that same evening, a man shot and killed himself. The front man for the gypsy-punk band Gogol Bordello is from Vermont. Eugene Hutz now lives in the city, but grew up in Burlington. Stepping off the plane in Berlin, collecting luggage, I am glad for the rail system that will take me into the big apple of Europe. Berlin is covered in graffiti. On more and more corners of downtown Denver, at Speer, Colfax and Broadway I see unwashed people of all gender, race and creed, usually adult, dressed in rags sleepily holding cardboard scraps with marker written messages asking for money. There seems to be several methods of “spare changing.” I see one lady with a baby stroller and a couple of kids crying. I wonder how many times a day she’s pinched them to elicit that reaction.
